K'Dương breaks three youth weightlifting world records

HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese weightlifter K'Dương broke three youth 五 五kg world records at the Asian Youth Junior Weightlifting Championships in Uzbekistan on Monday.
K'Dương successfully lifted all three times in the snatch, with the best weight of 一 一 三kg. In the clean and jerk, he continued to successfully lift 一 四 三kg.
With a total lift of 二 五 六kg, K'Dương broke a total of six youth records, including three world records (the old world records were 一 一 一kg, 一 四0kg and 二 四 八kg, respectively) and three Asian records ( 一 一 一kg, 一 三 七kg and 二 四 六kg, respectively).
Born in 二00 七 in Lâm Đồng Province, K'Dương trains at the National Athlete Training Centre in Bắc Ninh Province. Over the past two years, he has won gold medals at the national youth weightlifting tournaments.
It was a podium one-two for Việt Nam in the 五 五kg category with Dương Tuấn Kiệt also winning three silver medals, with his results of 一 一 二kg, 一 二 四kg and 二 四 八kg in total.
Earlier, in the women’s 四 五kg division, Nguyễn Thị Thu Hoài took a bronze medal for 六 八kg in the snatch, a silver medal for 八 四kg in the clean and jerk, and a bronze for lifting 一 五 二kg in total.
Trần Thị Bắc Giang could only finish sixth in the snatch with 六 三kg, fourth place in the clean and jerk with 八 二kg and fifth position in the total lift with 一 四 五kg.
In the men’s 四 九kg, Bùi Minh Đạo took two gold medals in the clean and jerk and total lift, while A Tiêu won a gold medal in the snatch.
Dương Thị Kim Yến also took a gold medal in the clean and jerk in the women's 四0kg category with her result of 七 三kg.
After two days of competition, Vietnamese athletes won 一0 gold medals overall.
